You are cordially invited
We invite you to the wedding of Lee Harrington (pronoun: he or they) and Ev Evnen (pronoun: they).
Sunday January 5th, 2025
Void Studios
1790 S. Bannock Street
Denver, CO 80223
Doors open 2:30pm, ceremony at 3pm, followed by tacos (and other food), dancing, and delight.
Expect live music, some DJs spinning music beyond modern wedding expectations, quirky media, a few tokes outside, and social spaces with an array of moods to choose from.
Remember to bring drinks to share with others at the bar, but there will be a few grooms’ themed drinks (including a mocktail). Scotch, gin, beers, wine, mixers, and delicious sodas are especially welcome.
There will be a coat check available, which can include a shoe check if needed to trade out for the night if snow blesses our féte.
The original invite said 16+, but is being expanded to Ev’s god daughter and a few individuals from the Tzelem Jewish trans youth group. Let us know if you need any other exceptions.
BYOB (extras encouraged to share), with limited wine, beer, and two groom’d themed cocktails available to enjoy. Food available for vegans, vegetarians, and meat eaters alike. Please include additional food needs in the RSVP survey.
Wardrobe: Feel fancy, whatever that looks like for you.
If you plan to attend, or otherwise, please RSVP above, including filling out a form for food preferences.
The ceremony is a Jewish/Pagan hybrid ceremony, reflecting the passions and faiths of both grooms.
Accessibility and logistics notes:
- Though pot may be consumed on site, it will only be taking place outside. Alcohol will be on site, but in both cases, inebriation is not welcome.
- The wedding script will be available to read afterwards. Those requesting to see it in advance for accessibility reasons or ease of understanding may request so. Though no translators are currently planned for the event, please let us know if you personally could benefit.
- Concerning mobility aids and physical access, the venue has a ramp into the space, but a slight bump to get onto the ramp. To get out back it has a lip to do so. One bathroom is ADA compliant, the other is not.
